The Royal Danish Opera’s grandest artistic journey in a century – the staging of Wagner’s gargantuan Der Ring Des Nibelungen – was released on DVD on 7 July 2008 on the Decca label with visual recording by Cubus Film and audio recording by Danish national broadcaster DR.
In 2009 The DVD box was awardet ‘Opera Release Of The Year’ by the leading British music magazine
Gramophone.
